Why you should use Thalamos

At Thalamos, we are committed to supporting mental health professionals in delivering timely and effective care. We work closely with s12 doctors, to provide them with digital tools that streamline the Mental Health Act assessment process.

S12 doctors play a crucial role in ensuring people in crisis receive the right care at the right time. However, the traditional, paper-based system for completing and processing Mental Health Act documentation can be slow, complex, and prone to errors.

We work alongside Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, and Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHPs) to ensure s12 doctors have the tools they need to carry out assessments safely, efficiently, and in compliance with legal requirements. From electronic signatures capability to the ability to download all forms into a PDF Thalamos allows for seamless form completion including validation, autosave, and pre-populated data where possible to allow quicker completion.

Collaborative working

Record and share Medical Practitioner Rational to AMHP colleagues, request S15 amends and then store all forms in a digital archive — allowing for effective multi-stakeholder ways of working that are auditable and protected.
