The COVID-19 pandemic has generated one of the greatest shifts in healthcare technology in the history of the NHS. The response by those on the front line has been outstanding. They have risen to meet the challenge of the pandemic itself whilst simultaneously being forced to change their entire way of working. Not just doctors and nurses in PPE but managers and administrators keeping the cogs turning from their kitchens and bedrooms. It’s been an amazing time to be involved in HealthTech.

Hopefully it would appear the worst of the initial pandemic is over. Sadly however, it has become apparent that this first half of 2020 has had a significant affect on the nation’s mental health. Thalamos are working with NHS trusts and private mental health providers to rise to meet this second challenge, one which is likely to last much longer than the first.

Founded by cousins Arden and Ross, Thalamos is a values-driven business deploying technology to improve outcomes in the assessment and treatment of mental illness. The first challenge we’re addressing is digitising the Mental Health Act commonly referred to as ‘being sectioned’. Our technology supports all those involved in the care of individuals in crisis. Helping people to access care more swiftly, simply and safely than they are able to currently.

Prior to COVID-19 we were working with 3 NHS Trusts. We’re now working, or in the planning phase, with 14. Working with them to deploy our Mental Health Act software across their teams and geographies.

Our team is small but mighty. We’re looking to add to this by finding a person to work with who can help our NHS clients transition from paper to digital. Details of the role are below but if you’d like to know the specifics please get in touch with me directly.

Role Overview

The customer success role will assume responsibility for ensuring successful deployment of Thalamos software in the NHS trusts and local authorities we’re working with.

Working with Arden & Ross to successfully onboard the existing pipeline and ensure Thalamos Assess is being used in practice and delivering the expected care quality improvements.

The role with Thalamos is for someone who is, and enjoys being, a very hands-on. Someone with the breadth of skillsets to communicate with all levels of healthcare organisations, manage projects and delivery external communications content.

We are looking for someone who understands the challenges and opportunities of a Start-Up and who is motivated by delivering a step-change in Mental Healthcare.
